01Prepare the inquiry
At minimum, share a product direction or image reference, destination market, volume or range, packaging format and target timing. If target price matters, state the relevant trade term, pack format and volume basis.
- Image reference or sample photo
- Market, channel and use occasion
- Volume range and expected reorder cadence
- Flavour, form, packaging and label language
- Sample and delivery window
02Discuss samples
Let us know whether you want to explore existing products or evaluate a new flavour, shape or pack. Sample quantities, costs, freight and dispatch timing are agreed for each request. New tooling or recipes may need a separate development plan.
- Product references and the flavours or textures you want to compare
- Number of tasters, required samples and delivery city
- Any packaging samples, labels or specification details you need
- Separate feedback on sweetness, texture, appearance and packaging
Match each comment to a sample reference to make revisions and approval easier.
03Hand over artwork
Agree product dimensions, pieces per box, inserts and case packing before final artwork. Provide editable logos, colour values, font licences and brand guidelines where possible. Both sides should review dielines, barcodes, ingredients, allergens and nutrition labels before approval.
- State quantities per pack, per box and per shipping case
- Include print colours and a version number on artwork files
- Specify label languages and space for barcodes, dates and batch codes
- Agree label-review and compliance responsibilities for the target market
If you already have packaging, share photos and dimensions so the fit and any need for an insert can be discussed.
04Plan storage & delivery
Chocolate can be sensitive to temperature, sunlight, odour and crushing, but exact conditions depend on the approved recipe, packaging, season and route. Share destination, mode and transit time early.
05Report an issue
Include the order reference, batch code, arrival date and affected quantity. Photograph the outer case, inner packaging and product. For damage, melting or crushing, describe when it was found and the storage and transit conditions so both sides can review the cause and next steps.
